The All-Ukrainian Boxing Tournament among Men and Women “Kyiv Cup” and the All-Ukrainian WAKO Kickboxing Tournament were held in Kyiv, which brought together the strongest athletes from different regions of Ukraine.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was worthily represented by cadets from various educational and scientific institutes at the competitions.

According to the results of the boxing tournament, Diana Dziuba, a 3rd year cadet of the ERI No. 2, won 3rd place in the weight category up to 54 kg.

At the WAKO kickboxing competitions, the university’s cadets won the following awards:
2nd place among adults in the “full-contact” section – Roman Savchuk, a 3rd year cadet of the ERI No. 1, in the weight category of 63.5 kg;
1st place among adults in the “full-contact” section – 3rd year cadet of the ERI No. 1 Roman Pshenychnyi in the 81 kg weight category;

2nd place among adults in the “K1” section – 1st year cadet of the ERI No. 4 Daniel Tymchuk in the over 91 kg weight category.
