KhNUIA cadets practiced safety protocols for handling explosive hazards
НАВС

Cadets from Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs majoring in Law Enforcement participated in a specialized tactical training session conducted by the department's academic staff and National Guard of Ukraine personnel.

During the session, the cadets learned about the main types of explosive ordnance and anti-personnel mines, identified signs of areas contaminated with explosive hazards, and reviewed the standard operating procedures for police officers upon discovering such items.

Particular emphasis was placed on safety measures and the correct response to reports of suspicious objects. Specialists used training models of various mines to demonstrate their design features and explain their operating principles.

National Guard personnel shared practical experience and provided the cadets with recommendations on how to act when explosive hazards are found, how to ensure public safety, and how to organize evacuations.

The knowledge and practical recommendations gained constitute a vital part of the professional training for future law enforcement officers.
