In Vinnytsia, the Vinnytsia region championships in boxing and mixed martial arts MMA were held, in which cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs demonstrated a high level of sports training and won prizes.

During the Regional Boxing Championship for men and women, juniors and young women, held in support of the ‘Alpha’ special forces unit, the university’s athletes demonstrated a high level of skill and secured podium places. The winners were second-year cadet Kira Dziuba (51 kg weight category), second-year cadet Danylo Kryzhanskyi (70 kg) and first-year cadet Vadym Slipchenko (85 kg). First-year cadet Dmytro Chornoknyzhnyi (60 kg) won the silver medal.

The cadets performed no less successfully at the Vinnytsia Region Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Championship. First place in the 70.3 kg weight category went to first-year cadet Artem Khmil, whilst second-year cadet Roman Kostiuk took silver in the 65.8 kg weight category.
