Educational quest among applicants for departmental institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took place in Dnipro region. Event was attended by LvSUIA 4th year cadets Yevhen TURYK, Khrystyna PLEVA and Khrystyna DOLYNIUK.
During the quest, participants learned about features of investigation of crimes related to human trafficking. They performed exercises that simulated cases of labor and sexual exploitation, including of minors.
Event participants had a brainstorm, during which everyone had an opportunity to express their own vision of ways to combat modern slavery.
Cadet of Faculty №1 Yevhen TURYK said that participants at first were divided into several teams of seven. Due to this, he was able to make friends with cadets of various universities.
Cadets also had to demonstrate skills in conducting investigative (search) actions: presentation for identification, interrogation of a minor and search.
Head of LvSUIA Department of Actualization of Education and Practical Training Oleksandra ZAKHAROVA and Associate Professor of Criminal Procedure and Criminology of Faculty №1 Ruslan SHEKHAVTSOV took part in development and implementation of this quest.
Event took place on October 27-30 as part of a project “Support for Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in fight against domestic violence, human trafficking and cybercrime in Ukraine” together with the OSCE Project Coordinator.
