OSUIA cadets discuss NATO's current agenda with NATO Headquarters representative Beata Patashova
НАВС

On April 7, an elective lecture was held at OSUIA for 1st year cadets of the Educational and Research Institute for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the NPU. The speaker of the event was Ms. Beata Patashova, a member of the Public Diplomacy Directorate of the NATO HQ.

During her lecture on “NATO's Current Agenda Towards the Hague Summit”, Ms. Patashova familiarized the cadets with the key security challenges of our time, the Alliance's strategic goals, and Ukraine's role in cooperation with NATO. Particular attention was paid to the preparations for the Hague Summit and expectations for further development of partnership relations between NATO and our country.

The meeting was held in an atmosphere of lively dialogue: the cadets asked questions about security in the Black Sea region, the prospects of Ukraine's membership in NATO, and practical aspects of cooperation between Ukrainian law enforcement agencies and international structures.

Such lectures are an important element in developing strategic thinking and understanding of global processes among future criminal police officers.
