Lviv State University of Internal Affairs initiated signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation with Department of Education and Science of LRSA and Lviv Regional Junior Academy of Sciences for student youth.

Development of new areas of work with gifted youth and intensification of research activities of schoolchildren is envisaged by the document.

“Together with educators we will hold seminars, trainings and lectures for high school students on various topics. Such events will help young people to start their own startup projects, will form practical skills in entrepreneurship and psychological self-regulation” says LvSUIA Vice-rector Olha BALYNSKA.

In addition, competition of scientific essays on social and legal issues, in which students of grades 9-11 from Lviv and region are invited to participate was launched within the framework of Memorandum.

“There are plans to hold joint webinars, festivals and summer schools. We hope that these measures will help attract gifted and progressive students to research activity in social sciences. And also - our university will be popularized among young people” emphasizes Olha BALYNSKA.

Memorandum also provides advice to students on writing research papers and conducting training for teachers.
