Undergraduates of the university were acquainted how police have to ensure human rights and freedoms

Regional representative of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Commissioner for Human Rights in Lviv region Ruslan KLAPCHUK together with regional Public Relations Coordinator Tetyana PANASENKO conducted class for university’s students.

 

Specialists visited the university at invitation of Associate Professor of Administrative Law and Administrative Procedure Department of Faculty № 3 Kateryna KOSTOVSKA.

Guests told “Master” degree applicicants of Faculty № 3 about the peculiarities of human rights during the implementation of certain police activities. In addition, during the class essence, legal framework and areas of interaction between police and society were considered.

Ruslan KLAPCHUK stressed that nowadays requirements for law enforcement officers are to use new forms of activity, which are based on the unconditional priority of human rights and freedoms.

Guests also met with “Master” degree applicicants of Faculty № 3, who study at the expense of individuals and legal entities. During the class, they discussed topical issues of ensuring human rights and freedoms, legality and discipline in administrative activities of National Police.
