Оn 20 December a forum ‘The Problem of Domestic Violence through the Eyes of Young People’ was held at the OSUIA, organised by the Department of Police Administration, the Department of General Legal Disciplines, the Centre for Gender Education and the Mediation Centre of the OSUIA in cooperation with the Tato Hub project in Odesa.

The first vice-rector of the university, Serhii Bratel, welcomed the audience. 

The event was attended by university students, representatives of the Tato Hub project in Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Khmelnytskyi and the coordinator of the project's national network.

The forum participants stressed the importance of interaction between responders to domestic and gender-based violence, the role of youth in preventing these offences, and discussed further areas of cooperation.

The project ‘Tato Hub Odesa’ is implemented by coordinator Alyona Yukhymchuk as part of the humanitarian response of UNFPA.
