Vice-Rector Oleksandr MUZYCHUK noted that this is another event on the national-patriotic education of higher education students, which aims to deepen young people's knowledge of the heroism and courage of the Ukrainian military.

Bohdan KOPCHATOV spoke about the actions of his unit in southern Ukraine at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Thanks to their endurance and courage, the marines were able to leave the operational environment and save their personnel. Even the battle, in which Bohdan and his reconnaissance group suffered numerous and serious injuries, became victorious thanks to their dedication and love for Ukraine. Despite the unfavorable conditions for our reconnaissance, they uncompromisingly fulfilled their military duty and repelled the enemy detachment, protecting an important logistical point.

For his military feat, Captain Bohdan KOPCHATOV was awarded the Cross of Military Merit and the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, III degree. Unfortunately, due to his health, he was forced to leave the service, but his connection with the army was not interrupted. Bohdan continues to support the military by participating in several veteran volunteer projects, and is also engaged in further rehabilitation.

Bohdan KOPCHATOV wished future law enforcement officers to acquire true professionalism and improve their physical training. He also focused their attention on the need to be ready to communicate with veterans returning from the front.

Acquaintance with still quite young heroes-defenders of our country is a powerful educational influence that teaches youth courage, indomitability and patriotism.
