Volodymyr Perepelytsia, head of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kherson region, held a class for OSUIA cadets, during which he talked about the specifics of the unit's work in conditions of constant danger caused by hostilities in the region.

The aim of the event was to teach young people safe behavior skills and raise awareness of the real risks that everyone may encounter. According to him, modern technologies and new methods of mining make even small explosive objects extremely dangerous.

Volodymyr Perepelytsia demonstrated various types of grenades, mines, and other explosive devices. He drew particular attention to modifications that make ammunition non-standard and unpredictable, as well as methods of camouflaging them.

The meeting served as an important reminder for higher education students of the need to be cautious, understand how explosive devices work, and know exactly what to do if they encounter one.
