
As part of the joint project of the OSCE Support Program for Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Police of Ukraine, cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Olha Berezhna, Daryna Shevchenko, Danylo Teslia and Vladyslav Bun got acquainted with the main trends and challenges in the field of combating human trafficking, developed professional skills in the tactical features of certain investigative (search) actions and formed skills in identifying victims of this criminal offense.

The training at the Autumn School was supplemented by an interactive quest that allowed the cadets to consolidate their theoretical knowledge in practice. The participants played the roles of investigator, operative, and forensic scientist, solving tasks that simulated real-life situations related to the investigation of crimes in the field of combating human trafficking. This experience encourages cadets to learn and master new skills.
