On November 4, Vasyl Boichuk and Volodymyr Yaslyk, researchers of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Precarpathian Faculty (Ivano-Frankivsk), held an online meeting with higher education applicants, reflecting on the poems of the famous dissident and poet Vasyl Stus.

The resonant decision of the court regarding Vakhtang Kipiani's book "The Case of Vasyl Stus" and the launch of all-Ukrainian actions of support, flash mobs and challenges became the reason for this event. The memorable meeting featured lines from the civic, philosophical and intimate lyrics of the strong-willed poet, who, according to the prophetic words, really "came back to life in death", discussing the iconic pages of the biography of the one of the "sixties" poetic generation.

Vasyl Stus's word and memory have reached its height and holds it. Stus must be read, his works must be felt by your heart, because only a man who opposed the system with all his being could write so subtly, so truly.

Famous figures in Ukrainian culture, of course, should be honored without even waiting for an occasion. So we will be glad to see you at the faculty creative evenings!
