The UNBROKEN GAMES 2026 took place in Lviv. This year, the sporting event brought together nearly 600 participants from across Ukraine, as well as representatives from international teams.

The participants competed in archery, table tennis, powerlifting, swimming, rowing on exercise machines, petanque, wheelchair basketball, and a functional multi-event competition.

OSUIA was proudly represented by veterans of the russian-Ukrainian war, who continue to work and pass on their experience to the younger generation.

Oleksii Ishchuk, Assistant to the Rector for Veterans Affairs at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, won the UNBROKEN GAMES 2026 wheelchair basketball championship.

Oleh Avtomieienko, Head of the Odesa Center for Initial Professional Training «Police Academy», took second place in archery in his category.

Adaptive sports are not only a path to physical recovery, but also a powerful tool for psychological rehabilitation, social adaptation, and a return to an active life.
