Today, October 23, Mykola Zborshchyk, the head of the “Antikiller” security company, visited the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs and during the meeting with police officers handed over to the University Glock Airsoft pistols and protective equipment.

 

 

 

“Nowadays, your University is the best institution of higher education for people who have decided to link their lives with the police. I hope for our further fruitful cooperation and I am convinced that these pistols and equipment will be useful for you during training,” Mykola Zborshchyk said.

 

 

Rector of the University Viacheslav Abroskin thanked the head of the security company for his important contribution to the training of future police officers and stressed that cadets must learn practical shooting and constantly train muscular memory, which will help them save their lives in future.
So far, the cadets have had an interesting and lively conversation with the guest. In particular, young police officers were interested in the opinion of the head of the security company on the legalization of short-barreled firearms. Mykola Zborshchyk noted that his attitude to this was negative: “I think it will cause a dangerous resonance, because today our civil society is not ready for this. As for the security sphere, certain criteria must be defined here, if we hand over weapons, we should consider it carefully.”

 

 

Glock Airsoft pistols and protective equipment will allow to drill with the University cadets atypical algorithms of actions in extreme situations with the use of weapons during direct fire contact with the criminal.
Practical classes will be held in a multifunctional tactical campus, built this year on the training facilities of the “Police Academy”, and in the university shooting ranges.
