The author's collective of the National Academy of Internal Affairs published a textbook "Organization of the Investigative Task Force", developed in accordance with the curriculum of the discipline "Organization of the Investigative Task Force" in higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

The publication highlights the procedure for creation, composition, tasks of the investigative task force and the powers of its members. The organization order of employees’ actions of the investigative task force to respond to allegations and reports of criminal offenses, the specifics of interaction of pre-trial investigation bodies with other bodies and units of the National Police of Ukraine in preventing criminal offenses, their detection and investigation are analyzed.

The textbook is intended for cadets, students, adjuncts, graduate students, research and teaching staff, pre-trial investigation officers and other units of the National Police of Ukraine, prosecutors, courts workers and is created in accordance with current legislation of Ukraine.

The publication will contribute to a detailed discussion of the issues raised and will improve the teaching of this discipline.
