A binary class for cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Preventive Activities of the National Police of Ukraine of OSUIA on the academic discipline «Ensuring Human Rights in Police Activities» was conducted by Viktoriia Tomina, Associate Professor of the Department of Police Administrative Activities.


The event was attended by Kostiantyn Dromov, Senior Inspector for Special Assignments of the Department for Human Rights in Police Activities of the Main Inspectorate and Human Rights Compliance Department of the National Police of Ukraine, and Dmytro Kolesnyk, Assistant Chief of the Main Department of the National Police in Odesa Region for Veterans' Policy, Senior Lieutenant of Police.


The session began with an introduction to the structure and activities of the Main Inspectorate and Human Rights Department of the National Police of Ukraine. Next, the participants discussed issues of non-discrimination in police work, as well as the development and directions of veteran policy within the structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.


The participants discussed the development of a barrier-free state, where every person, regardless of their characteristics, has equal access to all spheres of public life, eliminating physical, informational, digital, social, economic, and other barriers.
