Recently, the second stage of short-term professional development for scientific, teaching, and pedagogical staff who teach the subject «Operational and Investigative Activities» at educational institutions with specific training conditions that train police officers was completed at OSUIA.

The training resulted in a discussion platform entitled «Post-war crime: new challenges for Ukraine's criminal police units», during which participants discussed pressing issues related to new threats arising from the state of war in Ukraine and forecasts for new methods of combating criminal offenses.

The university rector, Police Colonel Viacheslav Davydenko, welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of such educational and scientific-practical events, which allow combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience and contribute to improving the quality of police training.

The participants were also addressed by the First Deputy Head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine, Police Colonel Yurii Kuzmenko, who emphasized the importance of timely, practice-oriented training for police officers of the operational units of the Criminal Police of the National Police of Ukraine.

Scientific and teaching staff successfully passed the final assessment and received certificates of professional development.
