On January 20, at OSUIA, Olena Reutseva, a representative of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, held an informational and educational event for students of the Institute of Law and Security and cadets of the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine on the topic: «Informing about the risks of explosive objects and training in risk prevention».

During the event, attention was focused on explaining basic concepts, in particular regarding types of mines and other explosive objects, the principles of their operation, and their characteristic features. The lecturer outlined in detail the types of explosive devices, potential dangerous locations where they might be found, and the psychological effects of explosive situations on people.


The issues of identifying dangerous areas, typical signs of danger, and examples of dangerous behavior were considered separately.

Participants were also provided with clear algorithms for safe actions in various situations involving the risk of detecting explosive objects.
