А lecture on “Proper Communication with People with Disabilities” took place at the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs organized with the participation of representatives from the Ukraine Assistance Organization.

The event was aimed at fostering a culture of tolerant, ethical, and barrier-free communication, as well as raising students’ awareness of modern approaches to interacting with people with disabilities.

During the lecture, participants learned about current communication standards, examined common mistakes in interaction, explored correct phrasing, and studied algorithms for appropriately offering help in everyday and professional situations.

The speakers of the event were representatives of the organization, Yelyzaveta Bezruk and Hanna Kashu, who shared practical advice and their experience in the field of support and inclusion.
