OSUIA hosted an international scientific and practical conference on the topic «Protecting Children’s Rights in the Context of Military Aggression».

The event brought together researchers, law enforcement officials, international partners, and practitioners, who jointly discussed current challenges in ensuring children’s rights and safety in wartime.

The conference was opened by university officials, representatives of the National Police of Ukraine, and international partners, including representatives of academic and security institutions from the Republic of Moldova and Poland, as well as international organizations.

During the conference, participants discussed a number of important issues, including:

- legal safeguards for children’s rights and freedoms;

- ensuring children’s safety in educational settings;

- preventing the involvement of children in illegal activities;

- psychological aspects of supporting children in wartime.

Special attention was given to discussion forums focused on the organizational, legal, and psychological aspects of child rights protection, which allowed participants to share their experiences and develop practical recommendations.

The conference concluded by emphasizing the need to consolidate the efforts of government institutions, the scientific community, and civil society to ensure the proper protection of children’s rights, support their psychological well-being, and create safe conditions for the development and future of every child.
