Іn OSUIA an inspiring meeting with the military of the Charter Rapid Response Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine took place. The event was attended by well-known personalities: writer and poet Serhii Zhadan, journalist and historian Vakhtanh Kipiani, and paramedic Yuliia Paievska, known by her call sign “Tyra”.

In addition to the speeches of the invited guests, the meeting included a presentation about the combat path of the «Charter» brigade, a discussion of the current challenges faced by Ukrainian defenders, and the importance of the information front in times of war.

The cadets, students, and faculty of the university had the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the activities of the «Charter» brigade and the personal contribution of each member to the defense of Ukraine.

Serhii Zhadan emphasized the role of information literacy and the importance of critical thinking for every Ukrainian. Vakhtanh Kipiani, and paramedic Yuliia Paievska, known by her call sign «Tyra» shared the historical parallels of the struggle for independence, and Tyra spoke about her experience in the volunteer and military environment, including rescuing the wounded on the front line.

All those present had the opportunity to meet Elvis the robotic dog as a symbol of the brigade's commitment to modern technical equipment, gear and weapons.

The students expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to hear real stories of struggle and learn more about the challenges facing the Ukrainian military.
