Odesa State University of Internal Affairs hosted a scientific and practical conference titled «Criminal Analysis and Cybersecurity: Joining Forces to Meet New Challenges». The event brought together specialists in the fields of criminal analysis, cybersecurity, and digital technologies, as well as representatives of law enforcement agencies, the academic community, information security experts, and university students.

During the conference, participants discussed current issues related to the integration of criminal analysis, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence technologies into the work of law enforcement agencies. Particular attention was paid to interagency and international cooperation, the legal framework for digital security, training the next generation of specialists, as well as responding to modern cyber threats and crimes in the digital environment.

University Rector Viacheslav Davydenko addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of finding effective mechanisms to combat cybercrime, protect the state’s information resources, and develop criminal analysis as one of the key tools for ensuring security in the context of digital transformation.

The event included a discussion of practical experiences in implementing modern analytical solutions in the work of law enforcement agencies.

Following the conference, a resolution was adopted outlining the main areas for developing cooperation among stakeholders in criminal analysis, cybersecurity, and the field of artificial intelligence to effectively counter modern threats.
