Тhe Department of Civil Law Disciplines of OSUIA under the leadership of the head of the department Viktor Makovii organized and held the Olympiad «In Defense of Private Rights and Interests».

The competition was held on the basis of the training ground «Courtroom» with the coordinated participation of teachers, as well as legal adviser, specialist in the field of housing and land law Ihor Loniuk.

According to the program of the Olympiad, it was planned:

- creative task - writing an essay on the topic «Protection of private rights in war conditions»;

- practical task – «Case from lawyer Ihor Loniuk»;

- a court case in a video broadcast from Judge Iryna Kalinska;

- Quizzes within the scope of private law.

According to the results of the Olympiad:

1st place was taken by 3rd year students of Institute of Law and Security Svitlana Kulichenko and Viktoriia Leshchenko;

2nd place - 3rd year cadet of faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies Viacheslav Lukov and 3rd year student Institute of Law and Security Anastasiia Morar;

3rd place - 3rd year student of Institute of Law and Security Valeriia Tsariuk and 3rd year cadet faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies Sofiia Domashova.
