А class was held with third-year cadets from the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the NPU of OSUIA on the topic: «Features of Documenting War Crimes and Military Crimes». The head of the Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kherson Region, Police Colonel Mykola VERBYTSKYI, joined the meeting.

During the session, attention was paid to the elements of the relevant crimes, as well as the difficulties that arise in the process of documenting and investigating them. Separate attention was paid to the issues of bringing to justice those involved in committing war crimes and military crimes.

Participants analyzed the concept and essence of indiscriminate shelling of civilian and industrial infrastructure, reviewed current statistics, and discussed the possibilities and peculiarities of using unmanned aerial vehicles in documenting and conducting pre-trial investigations of such crimes.

The training allowed cadets to deepen their professional knowledge necessary for effective pre-trial investigation in conditions of martial law.
