Kateryna Rudoi, Acting Head of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, together with Lieutenant Colonel of Police Viktoriia Chalova, Head of the Juvenile Prevention Division of the Preventive Activities Directorate within the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Odesa Region, Senior Lieutenant of Police Danylo Zemtsev, an inspector of the department, and Captain of Police Yulia Sokolova, Deputy Head of Sector No. 1 of the Odesa District Police Department No. 1 of the Main Directorate of the National Police, Police Captain Yuliia Sokolova, conducted a practical training session with cadets at the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists for the Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine.

During the session, practitioners familiarized the cadets with the specifics of investigating and documenting cases involving the following administrative offenses:

- causing a minor to become intoxicated;

- failure by parents or guardians to fulfill their child-rearing responsibilities;

- violations of the rules governing children’s presence in entertainment venues or restaurants;

- violation of the rules governing the sale of beer, alcoholic and low-alcohol beverages, tobacco products, e-cigarettes, e-liquids, and devices for consuming tobacco products without combustion, specifically regarding their sale to minors.

Particular attention was paid to offenses committed by minors, specifically: train surfing, the use of psychotropic substances, vagrancy, and others.
