Odesa State University of Internal Affairs hosted a career guidance event for graduating students of Odesa Lyceum № 49 of the Odesa City Council, aimed at promoting the university and raising the prestige of the police profession among young people.

Prospective graduates had the opportunity to learn more about the educational process, academic conditions, and student life, as well as visit various university facilities and feel like part of the larger police family.

During the event, participants were introduced to various aspects of the practical training for future law enforcement officers. In particular, they learned about the fingerprinting procedure and its importance in forensic science.

Special attention was given to developing practical skills relevant to today’s world. Participants learned about safety protocols for handling explosive devices, the procedure for responding to their discovery, and basic first aid techniques.

Such meetings not only help students learn more about the police profession, but also foster a responsible attitude toward their own safety and the safety of those around them.
