As part of the implementation of the project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine "Friendly Support," a meeting was held between the rector of the OSUIA, police colonel Dmitry Shvets and the military - representatives of the public organization "Potential of the Future."

The rector presented to our defenders the possibilities of a higher education institution in various areas of veteran sports, the prospects for obtaining higher education at the university and also elaborated on the advantages of studying at the Driving School for people with disabilities, where veterans will be able to master the skills of driving a specialized car with manual control and obtain a driver's license.

Separately, the meeting participants discussed the involvement of military personnel in physical and fire training as well as their participation in practical training in pre-medical assistance for cadets of the university.

The participation of the military in sports and educational events, the possibility of communication, exchange of views contributes to the speedy socialization and rehabilitation of war veterans and their return to full civilian life.
