А training session was held at OSUIA for cadets of the Faculty of Training of Specialists for Preventive Activities Units on the topic: «Understanding the principles of the European Union». The event was organized by the international cooperation department in conjunction with the legal clinic and the department of criminal analysis and information technology.

The trainers were representatives of Understanding Europe Ukraine, an informal education organization in the field of public affairs and relations with the European Union: Radislava Makhonina and Vladyslava Yurchenko.

During the event, cadets learned about key issues that are extremely important for today's youth: the role of the European Union in global processes, its historical development, principles of operation, and the importance of active civic participation.

The trainers and participants reviewed the main stages of the EU's development, analyzed important dates and events, and modeled the activities of European institutions through practical exercises to gain a deeper understanding of their structure and impact on society.
