OSUIA: Mine Safety Lesson for Young Participants at CAMP DYNAMO
НАВС

Iryna Zalievska, Associate Professor in the Department of Tactical, Special and Physical Training at OSUIA, joined «CAMP DYNAMO» – a sports and health project for children and adolescents aged 8 to 14.

As part of the camp, an interesting and informative session on mine safety was held for the young participants. During the session, the children learned about the different types of explosive objects and how to identify them, understood why they must never touch or attempt to move suspicious finds under any circumstances, and learned how to respond correctly if they discover a mine, munition, or unknown object.

The children were particularly interested in the visual aids and examples of warning signs, which helped them better absorb the important information.

Most importantly, the participants gained useful skills that will help them stay alert and respond appropriately in dangerous situations. After all, knowing safety rules is an essential part of protecting every child’s life and health today.
