Odesa State University of Internal Affairs sports complex hosted the Odesa Regional Open Mixed Martial Arts Championship for children and younger boys and girls (ages 10–13), dedicated to the memory of the fallen soldiers of the 33rd Separate Assault Regiment.

About 100 athletes from various parts of the region took part in the competition. The opening ceremony included the presentation of honorary awards. Among those in attendance were veterans of the russian-Ukrainian war, servicemen from the 33rd Separate Assault Regiment, guests of honor, athletes, and parents.

The young participants tackled the obstacle course and then demonstrated their strength, endurance, and technique in wrestling matches.

Based on the results of the competition, the champions and medalists were awarded medals and certificates of honor, and the teams received commemorative trophies.
