On the basis of the Military Academy (Odesa) together with the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs and the Institute of Military and Naval Forces of the National University "Odesa Maritime Academy", the VIII All-Ukrainian cadet-student scientific and practical conference "National security of Ukraine in conditions of martial law: problems and ways to solve them".
The head of the Military Academy, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Brigadier General Oleksiy Shevchenko, opened the event and greeted the conference participants.

The Vice-Rector of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Police Colonel Maksym Kornienko gave a welcome speech, who emphasized the urgency of the problem of ensuring Ukraine's national security, taking into account modern challenges and threats.
Then the conference sections continued their work by locations. Scientists, teachers, adjuncts, post-graduate students, masters, students of higher education joined the work of the conference.
The following issues were discussed at the conference: topical problems of the use and development of weapons and military equipment in the security and defense sector of Ukraine; problems of logistics and comprehensive provision in the conditions of martial law; information security of the state and information hygiene as a countermeasure against the spread of rumors and fakes; defense and protection of the maritime space and the coast in the conditions of modern warfare; peculiarities of professional training and formation of a military specialist in the conditions of martial law (through the eyes of those who study); provision by the National Police of Ukraine of public safety and order in the conditions of martial law and topical issues of moral and psychological support in the conditions of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
According to the results of the cadet-student scientific and practical conference, a decision was made regarding the main directions of ensuring the national security of Ukraine in the conditions of martial law.
The participants of the conference were issued certificates certifying their active participation in the work of the VIII All-Ukrainian cadet-student scientific and practical conference "National security of Ukraine under martial law: problems and ways to solve them." Based on the results of the discussion, a collection of theses of the conference will be formed.
