The Odesa Regional Department of Internal Affairs held a joint training session with cadets from the Educational and Research Institute for Training Specialists for the Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine, focusing on the topic of «Police Operations».

The session involved servicemen from the Special Purpose Center “Omega” of the Ukrainian National Guard’s independent diving unit, who familiarized the cadets with the specifics of service in an elite unit that carries out highly complex combat and reconnaissance missions on the water, underwater, on land, and in the air.

During the meeting, the servicemen spoke about the specifics of their service, the level of training among the personnel, and their combat experience carrying out missions in the hottest sectors of the front. Particular attention was paid to the requirements for candidates, as selection for the unit involves rigorous testing.

The cadets were also shown the special diving equipment and technical gear used during combat missions.

The session was organized by Ruslan Mukoida and Anatolii Anosienkov, instructors from the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training.
