OSUIA hosted a practice-oriented event for cadets of the Educational and Research Institute for Training Specialists for the Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine, with the participation of representatives from the National Police of Ukraine’s Department of Information and Analytical Support: the head of the department, Police Colonel Oleksii Hryhorovych, and the deputy head of the department’s Information Technology Division, Police Lieutenant Colonel Serhii Havrysh.

During the meeting, the cadets learned about the Department’s main areas of focus and key aspects of its work, as well as modern approaches to the use of information resources and technologies in police operations.

Special attention was paid to the operation of the National Police of Ukraine’s information and communication systems, the processing and protection of official information, and the use of modern analytical tools in the work of police units.

Serhii Havrysh briefed future police officers on the procedures for setting up and maintaining the “Custody Records” information subsystem. 

Oleksii Hryhorovych shared his practical experience with the cadets, spoke about the current challenges facing the National Police of Ukraine’s units, and emphasized the importance of high-quality professional training, disciplinary conduct, integrity, and a responsible approach to performing official duties.
