Continuing the long-standing practice of conducting practical binary classes in the academic discipline “Fundamentals of Criminal Analysis” at the Criminal Analysis Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Odesa Region, on March 4 a binary training session was held on the topic “Characteristics of the Stages of Criminal Analysis.”

The training was conducted by the Head of the Criminal Analysis Department, Police Colonel Oleksii Voloshko, with the participation of Volodymyr Kaluhin, PhD in Law, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Analysis and Information Technologies at OSUIA. The session was organized for cadets of the Educational and Scientific Institute for the Training of Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine.

During the class, the key tasks of criminal analysis and the specifics of cooperation with structural units of the National Police of Ukraine were discussed. Participants were also shown practical examples of how analytical results are applied in the work of operational and investigative units.
