А meeting of the nomination committee of the All-Ukrainian (national) competition of scientific and educational publications on law, security and European integration ‘Yurydyka’ was held at the OSUIA.

The competition was launched in 2022 to promote high-quality Ukrainian books in the field of law, security and European integration in the context of war and the process of Ukraine's preparation for accession to the European Union.

The Rector of the University, Police Colonel Viacheslav Davydenko, emphasised the importance of the competition for the promotion of scientific and educational publications that support the educational process in Ukrainian higher education institutions, meet higher education standards and contribute to the creation of new knowledge, as well as to the acquisition of quality higher education and the dissemination of best practices in learning, teaching and research in the academic environment.

The members of the nomination committee noted that the competition is becoming not only a forum for the exchange of experience and ideas, but also an incentive for further research and development of the scientific potential of Ukraine, and expressed confidence in the continued success of the competition and its important role in promoting the development of the Ukrainian scientific community in the context of current challenges in the field of law, security, and European integration.

During the meeting, the Rector of the University, Viacheslav Davydenko, was presented with a certificate of recognition of the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs as a flagship of education and science in Ukraine.
