OSUIA: Woman in Science: Challenges, Stereotypes, and Prospects

Odesa State University of Internal Affairs hosted a discussion platform dedicated to the International Day of Women and Girls in Science on the topic: “Woman in Science: Challenges, Stereotypes, and Prospects.”

The event served as a professional communication platform for discussing current issues related to the role of women in scientific, educational, legal, and law enforcement activities, as well as the challenges and prospects for the development of women’s scientific potential in the context of contemporary social transformations.

The discussion platform brought together representatives of higher education institutions, public authorities, and professional communities, including:

 

▪️ South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky;

▪️ International University;

 

▪️ National University “Odesa Polytechnic”;

▪️ Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University;

 

▪️ Odesa National Medical University;

▪️ Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs;

 

▪️ Main Directorate of the National Police in Odesa Region.

The discussion was also joined by public activists, notaries, deputies, and representatives of other professional communities.

 

The organization of such events at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs promotes interinstitutional cooperation, supports women’s scientific initiatives, and contributes to the development of a modern academic environment based on the principles of equality, professionalism, and service to the state.
