Third-year cadets of the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine of OSUIA had the opportunity to talk with the First Deputy Head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine, Police Colonel Yurii Kuzmenko.

During the event, the speaker spoke in detail about the main areas of activity of the criminal investigation departments, the specifics of operational and investigative work, as well as modern methods of combating crime in conditions of martial law. Particular attention was paid to issues of professional ethics, responsibility, and the need for continuous professional development of law enforcement officers.

Cadets had the opportunity to ask questions that interested them, discuss practical aspects of working in criminal police units, and receive advice on developing the professional competencies necessary for successful service.

Such meetings are an important part of the professional training of future police officers, helping to deepen their knowledge, build motivation, and raise awareness of the importance of their chosen path of service to the state and citizens of Ukraine.
