An interactive meeting was held at OSUIA between students from the Institute of Law and Security and Donatas Butkus, Deputy Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Ukraine, and Volodymyr Pylypenko, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor, and Honored Lawyer of Ukraine.

The theme of the meeting is «Ukraine as a Key Factor in the Security and Prosperity of a United Europe».

During the event, participants discussed current security challenges in Europe, Ukraine’s role in shaping a new European security architecture, and the prospects for international cooperation in the areas of law, democracy, and human rights protection.

Donatas Butkus emphasized the Republic of Lithuania’s unwavering support for Ukraine and stressed the importance of European nations coming together to ensure peace, stability, and a shared future.

Volodymyr Pylypenko emphasized the importance of legal education, international partnerships, and professional training for young people in the face of today’s challenges.
