Аn interactive meeting was held at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs between students from the Institute of Law and Security and representatives of the European Union Advisory Mission for Civilian Security Sector Reform in Ukraine (EUAM Ukraine).

The event was attended by:

Rolf Holmboe – Head of the EUAM for Civilian Security Sector Reform in Ukraine;

Anders Johansen – Head of the EUAM Regional Office for Civilian Security Sector Reform in Ukraine in Odesa.

During the open dialogue, participants discussed pressing issues related to the reform of Ukraine’s civil security sector, international support for the law enforcement system, the implementation of European standards in the work of law enforcement agencies, as well as the role of young people in building a democratic society and ensuring the rule of law.

The participants had the opportunity to ask Mission representatives questions about international cooperation, security challenges in the context of the war, and the prospects for the development of Ukraine’s law enforcement sector.
