On November 25, with the participation of the rector of the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs Vyacheslav Abroskin, took place an online meeting of cadets of the graduation courses with a representative of the State of Israel police, lieutenant colonel of police Igor Shmoysh.

During the meeting, similar and distinctive features in the structure of the police of Ukraine and Israel were covered in details. Mr. Shmoysh paid special attention to the specifics of professional training and service of a police officer. Yes, you can join the police only after serving in the army. Boys have to serve 3 years, girls - 2. The general training course at the police school lasts 3 months, after which the future officer must serve under the guidance of a mentor for a year. In the future, having received a description, the police officer will be sent to the appropriate unit, taking into account his abilities, intelligence, psychological training.

Answering the question, the foreign expert said that the retirement age of an Israeli police officer is 45 years, of which 15 serving years, but full benefits can be obtained only from 50 years, having 20 years of service, respectively. The social package includes health insurance and life insurance. The state provides funds once a year for the purchase of clothing and recreation with the family in five-star hotels in resort areas of the country.
