Cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs – Daria Ryzhenko, Milena Tsvietkova, Anna Dzyus and Natalia Kolesnyk took part in the Autumn School of AMU (Republic of Poland, Poznan) “Introduction to Negotiations and Process Management” under the scientific guidance of the Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Mykola Pakhnin and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminology and Forensic Examination Kateryna Penzieva.
The program included master classes, classes, sports training – Nordic walking. The participants covered a number of topics: “Introduction to Negotiations”, “Strategic Business Management”, “Business Management”, “Business Negotiations”, “Negotiations in Our Lives”, “Negotiations: Case Study”.
The Autumn School of Adam Mickiewicz University showed that negotiations are an important tool for achieving agreement between parties in conditions of different interests and goals. Effective management of the negotiation process requires not only communication skills, but also an understanding of strategies, tactics, as well as psychological aspects of the behavior of participants.
