Ukraine commemorates the victims of the Holodomor of 1932–1933 and the mass artificial famines of 1921–1923 and 1946–1947. This year, this Day is celebrated under the slogan "Light a candle in memory of the victims of the Holodomor. Fight for Ukraine and support the soldiers."

Higher education students, employees and management of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs put flowers at the memorial sites of the victims of the Holodomor and lit candles, because each candle is an expression of our grief, memory and faith in the future inevitable Victory over the aggressor.
