An introductory meeting was held for first-year cadets regarding research opportunities at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

During the event, University Vice-Rector Oleksandr Muzychuk explained to the students how to embark on a research path and get involved in research projects, academic and practical conferences, competitions, and grant programs. Special attention was paid to the School of Scientific Leadership, which helps students and cadets gain their initial experience in conducting research and preparing academic papers.

The meeting offered first-year students the chance to learn that research at the university is an accessible avenue for professional development right from the start of their studies. It enables them not only to deepen their professional knowledge but also to develop analytical thinking, initiative, information-handling skills, and the ability to find solutions to pressing issues in law enforcement.

Such events help young people better navigate the university's opportunities, identify their professional interests, and take their first steps toward participating in the academic life of KhNUIA.
