Taking into account the current challenges caused by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, in order to create conditions for cooperation and exchange of information and improve the quality of practical training of specialists, mastering theoretical knowledge and its practical application in the field of mine action and humanitarian demining, as well as strengthening ties in the field of educational, educational and methodological work, a Partnership Agreement was concluded between Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the Limited Liability Company "Demining Center of Ukraine". It was signed by the Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police General of the third rank Valerii SOKURENKO and the Director of LLC "Demining Center of Ukraine" Oleksandr YAKOVENKO.

The document provides for cooperation in the preparation and exchange of information on scientific and technical developments; study of best practices in the mastery by specialists of methods and means of identifying explosive objects, as well as rules of conduct in case of their detection; prospects for developing methodological materials to ensure the process of training specialists; improvement and development of a set of measures in the field of mine action and humanitarian demining; prevention of emergency situations, minimization of their consequences and protection of the population and territories.
The Parties will jointly participate in the organization of seminars, conferences, exhibitions, meetings and round tables on issues of mutual interest.
