Professor of the Department of Tactical and Special Training Dmytro VLASENKO and lecturer of the same department Oleh YANKOVSKYI completed the course “Training of instructors in training on risks associated with explosive objects” within the framework of cooperation with The HALO Trust in Ukraine - an international organization certified in the field of mine action and educational programs.

The university employees received theoretical and practical knowledge on teaching the population safety rules during the detection of explosive objects, in particular for residents of communities affected by armed conflict. Special attention was paid to the formation of sustainable skills of safe behavior among the civilian population in communities that need it most.

After successfully passing the exam, the participants received instructor certificates, which give them the right to conduct mine safety training in accordance with international standards and in cooperation with The HALO Trust. The acquired knowledge and skills will be further implemented in the educational process of the university.
