A binary class on the discipline “Pre-trial Investigation” for cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the topic “Start of Pre-trial Investigation” was conducted by Alina Kosovska, Head of the Department for Investigation of Crimes in the Field of Economic and Official Activities of the Investigation Department of Kamianets-Podilskyi Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi Region, and Alina Piddubna, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation. The training was conducted using the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations.

The representative of the investigative unit helped the higher education students to acquire skills in qualifying general criminal offenses, war crimes and entering information about these types of crimes into the URPTI. They also discussed problematic issues that arise when working with the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations.
In addition, the cadets, using their chosen quest situational tasks, registered a criminal offense in the URPTI with the subsequent entry of information on serving a notice of suspicion to a person and applying a preventive measure.
