The All-Ukrainian training “Youth Policy: Strategies for Participation and Public Oversight” was held in Kamianets-Podilskyi. Students majoring in Law, Anastasiia Bezpalko and Karina Shafieieva, took part in the event.

The training brought together representatives of youth councils, local self-government bodies, youth centres, non-governmental organisations, student and pupil self-government bodies, as well as active young people from different communities across Ukraine. The participants explored practical tools for engaging young people in local decision-making processes, mechanisms of e-democracy, approaches to analysing local programmes and youth policy, as well as methods of advocacy, communication with local authorities, public oversight and monitoring.

Participation in the training enabled Anastasiia Bezpalko and Karina Shafieieva to deepen their knowledge of youth policy, learn about effective mechanisms of civic participation, exchange experience with representatives of youth communities from different regions of Ukraine, and acquire new practical skills for their further civic engagement.

Upon successful completion of the training, the students received certificates.
