Representatives of youth councils from Kamianets-Podilskyi, Kharkiv, Kupiansk, and Kalush took part in the youth event “Ready. Steady. Act 2.0,” held to mark Youth Day.

The programme included presentations on the activities of youth centres at educational institutions in the city. Participants presented their initiatives and successful projects and shared their experience. During the event, Kira Ivanova, a cadet of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, presented an innovative platform — the “Safe Community” chatbot. The project is designed to improve communication between citizens and local authorities, provide timely information to the public, and contribute to enhancing safety in the community.

A special impression on the participants was made by the screening of the documentary “Heritage,” presented by members of the Honcharivska Service of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade. The film tells the story of a unique operation to evacuate Scythian stone statues from areas affected by active hostilities and draws attention to the importance of preserving Ukraine’s cultural heritage during the war.

The meeting concluded with a panel discussion, during which representatives of youth councils discussed modern approaches to implementing youth policy, exchanged successful practices of cooperation with local authorities, and outlined prospects for further cooperation.

For their significant personal contribution to the development of youth policy, active civic engagement, and on the occasion of Youth Day, KhNUIA students Yana Zelena and Karina Shafieieva, as well as cadets Sofiia Yakovets and Kira Ivanova, were presented with awards by the Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council.
