Representatives of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs have commenced participation in the training programme of the “Odesa Region Without Barriers” project, implemented by the Diia.Business Entrepreneur Support Center in Odesa.

The programme participants from OSUIA are:

• Liubov Berezovenko – Assistant to the Rector on Gender Issues;

• Viktoriia Tomina – Associate Professor of the Department of Police Administrative Activities.

The two-month hybrid training programme brings together professionals from across Odesa region to develop practical skills for creating accessible and inclusive environments.

Participants will explore topics including state policy on accessibility and inclusion, universal design principles, respectful and effective communication, accessibility of services for different population groups, legal requirements in the field of physical accessibility, inclusive workplaces, as well as the development and implementation of accessibility passports.

The project is supported by the Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine programme, financed by the governments of the United Kingdom, Estonia, Canada, Norway, Finland, Switzerland, and Sweden.
