The head of the Department of Psychological Support of LDUVS named after E.O. Didorenko Oleksandra Burlachenko took part in a two-days training on suicide prevention for representatives of state and non-governmental organizations. 

According to Mrs. Oleksandra, the training is designed to provide knowledge and practical skills in giving primary social assistance to people at risk of suicide and self-harm, namely: awareness of a suicide, ability to reveal warning signs, support during suicide crisis and referral for professional help. 

The event is organized by Akerkhus University HF Clinic (Oslo, Norway) together with the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy", the Center for Psychosocial Rehabilitation NaUKMA and the Local organization "Association of Specialists in Solving Conflicts and Social and Psychological Support «Words help» ". with the support of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
